Were developed over 25 years ago.
- Thousands have been installed
- In different types of soil and
- In a variety of sewer conditions.
- They resist the effects of hydrogen sulfide
corrosion.
- Minimize the amount of inflow/infiltration to the
treatment system.
- Are economical.
- Are proven effective.
Flowtite® Fiberglass Rehabilitation
Manholes
Standard Features:
- Made of non-corroding fiberglass.
- Made to be installed WITHIN an existing
concrete, brick, or precast manhole.
- Provides a structural barrier.
- Resists the attack of hydrogen sulfide.
- Provides a long-term and cost effective
solution to manhole rehabilitation.
- Withstands H-20 traffic loads.
The Flowtite rehabilitation manhole is a structural
unit, as well as a watertight, corrosion-resistant liner.
Water Tight Construction:
- Monolithic - made in one integral piece
- up to 25 feet in height.
- Design prevents infiltration an
exfiltration.
- No sidewall joints, seams, or sections
to let groundwater in or wastewater out.
- Virtually leakproof answer to
deteriorated brick or concrete manholes.
Lightweight, Strong and Durable:
- Lightweight to permit fast, easy
rehabilitation of deteriorated manholes means minimum disruption of
street traffic.
- Rehab can often be accomplished without
sewage bypassing or diversion.
- Liners are engineered to withstand a
16,000 pound vertical dynamic load (AASHTO H-20).
Unlike coating and gunite methods of relining, no
extensive surface preparation of deteriorated interior surface areas is
required to restore structural integrity.
Corrosion Resistance:
- Highly corrosion resistant.
- Proven resistant to the following
conditions such as:
- Variety of chemical solutions.
- Salt water.
- Corrosive soil conditions.
- Sewer gases (such as hydrogen
sulfide).
- Stray electrical currents which can
destroy steel-reinforced concrete in a few years.
- Economic alternative.
- Long performance life.
Size Availability:
- Manufactured as one integral piece.
- Available in one-foot increments in
heights from 3 feet to 25 feet.
- Inside diameters can range from 42" to
72" in six-inch increments.
- Liners in other diameters can be made
upon request .
- Can be provided without cone if
requested.
Specification Compliance:
- Flowtite rehabilitation manholes meet
all requirements of ASTM specification D3753 for glass
fiber-reinforced polyester manholes.
- The rehabilitation manhole is a
complete structural unit which can be used as a manhole were local
code requirements permit.
Flowtite® Fiberglass Wetwells (or Lift
Stations)
At this highly corrosive point in a wastewater system,
Flowtite Fiberglass Wetwells put an end to worry about corrosion as well
as inflow infiltration.
Standard Features:
-
Suitable for
use in storm, industrial and sanitary sewers.
- Monolithic – one piece construction.
- No sidewall joints, sections or seams to
let ground water in or waste out.
- Easy to install.
- Easier inspection.
- Economical.
- Highly resistant to corrosion.
- Long lasting performance.
Corrosion Resistant:
- Inert to corrosion.
- Virtually impervious to waste water
conditions.
- Proven resistant to a variety of chemical
solutions such as:
- Salt water.
- Corrosive soil conditions.
- Sewer gases (such as hydrogen
sulfide).
- Stray electrical currents which can
destroy steel-reinforced concrete in a few years.
- Approved for use in more than 400
chemical environments.
- Unlike concrete, fiberglass is unaffected
by hydrogen sulfide.
- Long lasting performance.
- Suitable within a temperature range of
40°F to150°F.
Easy Installation:
- Light weight, one-piece construction.
- Easier handling
.
- Lighter footings, smaller excavation.
- Unloads and installs faster with light
equipment.
- Less likelihood of uneven settlement.
- Eliminates time-consuming concrete forms
or multiple precast sections.
- Only minor grouting required.
- One-step installation on depths from 3'
to 25'.
- Ordering flexibility.
- Meets every wetwell dimensional and
performance specification.
Size and Option Availability:
- Diameters ranging from 42" up to 120".
- One-foot depth increments from 3' to 25'.
- Greater depths can be custom fabricated.
- Watertight tops.
- Watertight bottoms.
- Various piping connections.
